Soleil Brule

Biz buzz: Moroccan flair

Soleil Brule, a home furnishings store, has moved into Gaviidae Common on Nicollet Mall.

The store, which specializes in Moroccan imports, moved to Downtown from Wayzata to take advantage of a location with more foot traffic. Store owner Jennifer Vervoot-Smith hand picks each item in the store — goods she picks from all over the world, including North Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, according to the store's website — soleilbrule.com.

The store has furniture, lighting and glasswear, among other specialty imports.

Soleil Brule is a locally-owned boutique in Wayzata. It is a treasure-trove of global goods for the home and body. Owner Jennifer Vervoort-Smith hand selects each piece throughout her travels to the far corners of the world. Unique and exotic pieces from North Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, make-up the bold and varied selection at Soleil Brule.
